For that last couple of months, there were a few conversations that went like this:
Me - "Hey what's up what's everyone talking about here"
People - "OMG! GAME OF THRONES! BLABLABLA! YAY! MAZING! DO YOU WATCH"
Me - "Oh yeah I've started reading... couldn't get into it... heard it's good sho..."
People - "OMG!! WHAT YOU WAITING FOR! WATCH IT! WATCHITWATCHITWATCHIT"
OKAAAAAAY JEEBUS. Look. I've watched it finally today. Season 1 Episode 1 to 4. Okay?
.... and?
.... OMGWTFBBQ! MAZING!!!!!11111
Haha I'm loving it. Yes yes, you've told me, yes yes. I will admit my mistake and laziness in not following this instead of god knows what junk I usually watch. The characters are easy to love and hate... and just reaffirmed to me that I need to get myself some faux-fur to wear, stat. Now I can finally fully enthusiastically partake in all the discussions, too - even though I'm a n00b at 4 episodes in and anything you say will probably spoil the story (I've already self-spoiled quite a few things while wiki-ing - dammit stop judging me, I needed to see how the names were spelled!)
Favorite character so far? Well, They obviously made Arya the easiest one to love, Joffrey the easiest one to hate, the House of Stark as good, and Lannister as evil... honestly though, minus the disturbing twincest (yes, I believe I just coined that on my own), Lannister would be a pretty bad ass House to be born into. That and Targaryen, but again, there's some other siblincest going on there too (I'm on FIRE today).
I also appreciate the fact that so far only at one point I had a "stupid TV-logic" outcry, i.e. when Lady Catelyn's riding down King's Road to King's Landing, supposedly undercover and all. She took undercover pretty literally... that was a pretty piss-poor disguise for someone who's afraid of being found out. "Imma put a blanket over my hair... voila, no one will ever tell". Granted they didn't have Facebook back then but com'on.
Anyhow... another sign of me growing wise and old - I'm portion controlling an addictive show now! Only 4 episodes when I have time for 6. Can't wait to watch the rest...!

I'm totally going to give you 1 episode at a time for season 2. Wait no! I will give you episodes that abruptly cut off in random places at cliff hanger moments...not that the show already doesn't do that.
My fav characters are The Imp, Arya, and Daenerys Targaryen OH AND THE DIRE WOLVES. So badass. Hahaha twincest and siblingcest. hahaha. Well done. You aren't just a hat rack that blogs!
I can't recall what happens int he first 4 episodes and I don't want to spoil anything for you. Can't believe you wiki'd it. What is wrong with you!??!?! lol baaaaaaaaad!
And don't knock the hide under a hood/blanket trick, works for Jedi's and Tom Cruise in MI all the time. Well until he went all ripping fake faces off all the time.
Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the rest of this season as well as season 2. Shit goes cray cray!

Deletei went through season 1 and 2 in one shot once i came back from my world travel. So good!!! I have to give mad props to the kid that plays Joffrey. He's SO good to make people hate him. Brilliant actor!
