Another gem from tonight.

*brainstorming about what to make tonight for dinner

M - "Oh I know... do you like polenta?"
V - "Yeah. The cheese?"
M - *couldn't breathe from laughing

V says the darnest things.... (notable brain farts).

I'm just starting a series under this topic now because 1 - I'm too lazy to write lengthy posts for now and 2 - it's too good to pass up, the materials are almost fresh weekly if not daily. 3 - V's good sport and we will probably look at this and laugh at it fondly later.

V - You're not.
M - I'm not fit.
V - Well me neither.
M - Wait what? what do you mean "neither"?
V - Oh... hmm.  I... f.... sh... whatever!

*dinner time with V's family
V's mom - Blabla met friends who went to Taiwan recently blabla.
M - Blablabla Taiwan blablabla.
V - Didn't Taiwan go back to China like, in the nineties?
M - What the.
V's mom - Oh god my kid is retarded.

Disclaimer - Don't get me wrong, this is by no means complaints re: V.... he's one of the smartest people I know and the nicest person I know. That being said our familiarity with each other often shuts down his filters and many a times the conversations would be:

V - "BLURT!"
M - "Hmmm..... did you hear yourself...."
V - "Oh. My bad."
