"jogging" in the wind makes my ears sad

Naive is the word of the day... Or maybe Foolish. I don't know why I did that to myself, to decide that I want to go for a jog today. Seemed like a good idea when I went all formal and sent V an audacious and optimistic recurring calendar event invite for Monday 6:30-7:30 jogs.

And it had to start on pretty much the windiest Mondays ever. Good thing I still had my whale weight to keep me grounded, but my overly pointy and sensitive ears weren't so lucky. I thought they were gonna eventually pop somewhere along the way and bleed me to death as a manner of protest.

I even got jealous of those damn birds by the lake (seagulls, loons, pigeons, ducks, geese and swans). Damn earless creatures were just chilling along the lake like it's business as usual. The swans has got their neck buried in the lake and looked like giant floating white plastic bags from afar. I thought they were litter and was pretty indignant for a long time too, since I was pretty much walking for the entire time and it took me quite a while to be close enough to tell they were just fat birds looking for food.

All in all, I absolutely hated it. The only thing that prevented me from bitching the entire sad 4 kilometers was the wind shoving air into my mouth every time I opened it. I guess I'll give it another shot next Monday but between you and me, I don't think I was born to run. Burning ears, shin splints, and lack of aerodynamism would suggest that I'm more of a walking animal.
