there's an expression in Chinese that compares something to a chicken rib - too bland to chew on, and too wasteful to throw away.

That feels like my job right now. I live my days for the weekends and highlights of bank holidays and employee appreciation days. The rest of the time? Too bland to talk about, too wasteful to quit.

Maybe it's just me, always wanting something to happen and to be happening and bored easily.
